We are a proud Australian owned and operated business, run by the same family since 1927. The business has been handed down through the generations, which has allowed Taberner’s to evolve yet maintain it’s high quality name and great customer service. Through extensive window and door manufacturing experience and loyalty to our customers we have built a reputable business in Orange.

Our staff are our biggest asset and we are proud to have them working for us, we are glad to be able to introduce them to you. See below for more details on who we are and what roles we have within the company.

We ensure clear communication at all times, we are committed to delivering on time and work with you to ensure the best outcome for the project. Our experienced team have over 250 years combined working at the business. We know our aluminium windows and doors(!)

David The Boss
David has passed on the business to his children and holds an advisory position, however the passion for the trade always means he’s keen to be involved, he can be found most days on the factory floor showing us all how it is done! Outside of work David enjoys time on the farm with his wife and 26 grand children(!)
LyndonDirector / General Manager
Lyndon is the youngest of the 3rd generation owners holding a pivotal role. Managing the sales team with a passion for customer service. Outside of work Lyndon enjoys staying active at CrossFit, skiing and spending time with his family.
CherrieDirector / Finance Officer
Cherrie manages the office team as well as looking after key accounts and suppliers ensuring a smooth day-to-day running of the business. When not working she’ll be found at home with her husband and four children enjoying entertaining and spending time by an outdoor fire. Cherrie loves to travel the world and does so as often as possible.
Andrew Director & Property Manager
Andrew splits his time between the window factory and the farming business these days, his passion is the farm and he loves spending time there overseeing all aspects of the farm management. He has recently designed and organised the acquisition of a new delivery vehicle with a crane for handling our products that are getting heavier all the time. When in town he brings his wealth of technical knowledge to the factory floor to assist the production team as required.
AshleyDirector / Site Manager
Ashley is the go to site man often finding solutions to the unusual projects on site. Never without a smile, he loves a challenge. Also playing a big part in the design of the new Kenworth Crane Truck & now taking charge of deliveries in it ,he will get your windows delivered safe & sound. Along with his wife Jana and four daughters he enjoys spending time hunting, camping or bike riding.
GerryOperations Manager
Gerry joined the team from Scotland as a highly experienced Production Manager. After streamlining the production process, Gerry manages the team on the factory floor & co-ordinates outgoing orders to site. When he’s not at work he can be found relaxing with his wife and son at home. Gerry is a keen DIY-er who is never afraid to take on the next project his wife throws at him!
Richard has grown with the company covering many aspects of the production line, this provides him with un paralleled product knowledge when selling the Vantage range. Rich is an integral part of the sales team who is often in the showroom with customers. A gentle giant, Rich along with his wife and children enjoy the outdoors and sport on the weekend.
Matt is another key member of our sales team. Having gained vital product knowledge over the years he is able to provide excellent service to our customers. When he’s not with his family, Matt enjoys CrossFit and mountain biking with a cold beer to finish.
DebbieOffice Manager
Debbie manages the accounts and payroll keeping on top of the finances, working closely with all other departments. Outside of work, her husband, children & grandchildren keep her entertained.
TaylorPurchasing Officer
Taylor joined the family business in August 2016 and is a 4th generation member of the family. Taylor’s role is our purchasing officer, she looks after the ordering of all goods that go into making our finished products, she also produces all production sheets for the factory and is on hand to follow up with our suppliers whenever required. Taylor enjoys playing soccer and travelling in her spare time.
SunnyLeading Hand
Sunny is a joint team leader & runs our CNC machine in the factory with incredible technical knowledge of the AWS Vantage systems. When he’s not working Sunny spends time in the garden with his children and cooking with his wife. In 2010 sunny was proud to become an Australian citizen.
RalphLeading Hand
Ralph is also a joint team leader & one of our most experienced employees. He is always happy to share his knowledge with those around him. Ralph makes all our sashes & door panels and is busy feeding the beast that is the production line. Outside of work Ralph loves the outdoors, camping, gold detecting and time with the family, he has recently become a grandad for the first time.
NeilProduction Team
Neil is our longest serving member of the team clocking up 38 years recently. Specializing in glass cutting Neil operates our two machines for stock glass. When he’s not in the factory Neil enjoys golf and relaxing at home catching up on his favourite TV shows.
TerrySite Team
A well known face on site, Terry installs our door panels, site glazing and fly screens. He has extensive knowledge of how all our products work, no task is too big or too small. Terry enjoys time with his daughter or playing golf on the weekends.
MattProduction Team
Matt works in the pre-production area, fitting all locks to the entire product range ensuring a seamless and comfortable operation for the end user. When he’s not at work he enjoys time with his family, going to church and fishing. Matt also enjoys bike riding and working in his garden.
ShannonProduction Team
Shannon is our most experienced door manufacturer & works on the door assembly line, managing the tricky corner door units, centor screens and our magnum range. With high attention to detail Shannon treats each job as his own. Outside of work he enjoys camping, fishing and touch rugby as well as spending time with his family.
LukeProduction Team
Luke joined the production team with 3 years experience, a quick learner on the Vantage range with a keen eye he aids works in the pre-production area. Luke also helps out with loading the finished goods carefully onto our frames for delivery. Outside of the factory Luke enjoys camping, hunting and spending time with his family.
IanProduction Team
Ian joins Shannon on our door assembly line often singing a tune as he goes about his job with much care and consideration into the final stages of production. Ian is an avid motorbike rider and can often be found enjoying a long ride on the weekend.
JasonSite Team
Jason is also a recent addition to the team here at Taberner’s, he heads up the site team and takes the lead on our site work in Sydney, working closely with and training Fletcher he manages any install and site glazing. He is a strong guy and man of few words who gets the job done. He works out at the weekends when he isn’t spending time with the kids
Jay joined the team in January 2016 to replace Andrew as our sawyer. Jay brings a high level of competence with him and he has picked up the role quickly. Needing to learn over 1000 extrusions isn’t an easy task but he has relished the challenge. Jay enjoys home brew, golf, soccer and cricket. He also loves spending time with his wife and daughters.
Fletcher is the youngest member of the team who is always looking for new skills to learn. He is currently on the glazing apprenticeship programme learning the trade at a rate of knots. When he’s not studying he’ll be riding his motorbike or spotted at one of the local pubs enjoying live music.
